I have a hemorrhoid and had it ever since I had my 1st baby which was 4 years ago. It doesn’t bother me at all but it’s ugly and I want it to go away. Is there anything that gets rid of it besides surgery?

As you probably know, creams and ointments etc will shrink a hemorrhoid. Every article I have studied on the subject says surgery in the only way to totally get rid of the problem.

It looks that your hemorrhoid is connected with the pregnancy you had, which is good since the cause of the hemorrhoid is not anymore present. You are completely right to wish to get rid of it.
