I am on my second pack of Loestrin 24 Fe. Last month while I was on the first pack my period was incredibly heavy. That was about 3 weeks ago. Now I am on the second pack and I have started my period already.The point of Loestrin 24 is to have shorter periods, that last 3 days. My question is, is anyone on or has anyone used Loestrin 24 and experienced a 3 day period by the 2nd pack of pills? Thanks for any help you can give.

I was on Loestrin 24 fe for 2 months. It was too expensive to keep up with every month (55 dollars?!?!) so I called my doctor and she switched me to Microgestin. I know it is a generic form of a different type of Loestrin. I was planning on purposly skipping my period this month because I am going away and cant have my period, can i still do that? If so, how?
Also, how long until its effective against pregnancy? Do i have to wait another month again?
