acne medicine question?

(my skin is usually pimple free but dry.. once in a while i will get
these “pustles” or whatever and i have black heads on my nose but they are under the surface & your cant pop them)
so..

Is it okay to use Erythromycin-benzoyl peroxide tropical gel (in the morning) with tretinoin cream (at night) ?
I was prescribed both but I usually just use the tretinoin on
pimples but it hasnt been working well on my black heads
and occasional “period pimples” haha.
