had a few whiteheads on my forehead my doctor prescribed me zineryt and bactroban twice a day(in the morning) and differin at night. he also gave me doxycycline tablets.. i noticed very little difference after two weeks so istarted using the antibiotics( a capsule every 12 hours) then my face broke out into rash which spread to my neck in a little less than a week. is this some sort of allergic reaction? i’ve stopped taking it but my skin seems to be all the same: itchy with eczema-like skin near my chin and around my mouth. popped over to another doctor who prescribed me nimegen*isotretinoin 100mg) i know that this is the last resort for acne problems…but from what i’ve heard you have to rely on them for over….6 months and if you stop for a while the whiteheads/acne will come back!! should i go ahead with it or try my previous doctor’s tropical medicine for a while longer to see results?
b)he didn’t give me anything for the rash *_* said it would go away on its own but it really’s making my skin itch like crazy…what should i do?
