Loestrin
asked:

My partner is using the Loestrin 24 birth control method. If on thursday she takes the pill around 2pm and then on friday at around 10pm would it be effective still? And if an affair occured at around 9pm would it be nothing to worry about?

If you take the pill at the same time every day it is effective throughout the 24 hour period. This is true even of low-dose BC pills. As long as she takes regularly, have at it.

As long as shes taking the pills everyday on time she will still be protected. If you have any doubt that it might not be effective then use condoms too.

tell her to get off loestrin and switch to a different brand. it messes up your period really bad to the point that she will not have one and then you will be posting questions to ask if shes pregnant…trust me

In my experience still effective unless you didn’t take it for a two days or so..Me, i forgot to take for almost two days..what i did is to take the two pills i forgot the time i remember it then take the rest of the pills same time i usually take that mostly before going to bed at night..
