does anyone know why they took the Malboro light box warning off about pregnancy complications?

Because it should be common sense at this point! (sorry I dont mean to sound rude, but they didnt take it off because they found out it wasnt causing problems… )

I haven’t smoked in years, but it was my understanding that the phrasing of the various warnings alternates from time to time.
I smoked throughout my pregnancy. No complications. In fact, of all the people I know who smoked, only one person had a complication and it was a complication unrelated to smoking entirely. However, that doesn’t mean I would recommend that to anybody. I’m not going to jump down their throat about it however.

It’s on the last pack I bought before I found out that I was pregnant last month, but not on the pack my husband bought today???? I don’t know, maybe it has to do with the state law requirements. Each pack has a state stamp on it, maybe it has to do with where you live???
I decided to quit smoking for the health of my baby, I have high blood pressure and the OB to me off my bp med, and I am high risk. I know of several woman who smoked and they had lower weight babies than when they didn’t smoke.

I haven’t smoked since I started TTC.
I used to smoke Marlboro Lights, though, and they seem to have different warnings on different boxes. Some I would buy had the part about smoking, others would say that quitting smoking now reduces risks of long-term complications, etc. I think they have a few different warnings that they change around from box to box.
