First of all, What is Candida? Candida is, in it’s simplest form, a yeast infection. Yeast infections can occur in men, women, and children. There are several different types of yeast infections, the more common ones are; oral (Thrush), skin (Eczema), vaginal, pregnant, and systemic. Systemic typically occurs in people with weakened immune systems (AIDS or Cancer) and are very difficult to detect and eliminate. All of these types mentioned above, are all different strains of Candida.
So if Candida is a yeast infection, will removing yeast from your diet get rid of it? The answer is not a simple yes or no. No if removing yeast from your diet is the only thing that you do. Yes if you remove yeast from your diet and see your doctor, so that he can recommend either a medication or other treatment plan to help in the removal of the infection. So removing yeast from your diet will definitely help, but it needs something to assist it to work completely. The reason people contract yeast infections is due to excess levels of yeast in their body from foods they eat and people with weakened immune systems or people going through hormonal changes are also prone to contracting an infection.
Yeast removal from your diet doesn’t only help you conquer an infection, it does many other healthy things to your body. If you were to apply these changes to your diet permanently, it would help weight loss, to get in shape, remove toxins and other chemicals in your body (put there by foods full of them), help with medical problems, and day-to-day problems. There are several different ways that it helps you, too many to list in fact.
