what are the requirements i need to meet to own a bar? i.e. liquor liscence, colledge education, anything else? and how would i go about getting these things? my uncle owned a tropical bar in flroida when i was younger and he made a decent living and it was super fun to go there(it wasnt illegal for me to be there it was a bar/grill) and i sort of wanted to follow that whole thing. i plan on living in either florida or mississippi or south carolina if that helps. thank you.

Liquor laws are different between states. Even counties and city’s have different requirements. So you will have to pick a location and then investigate what licenses are needed. But I do know that a college education is not a requirement.

A good business sense, equity, equipment, a liquor license, equipment, location, licensed staff, a business license.
THe most important is equity, a high percentage of establishments fail in their first year due to lack of planning and money.
