My blood parrot cichlid has always been healthy, these past 7 months I’ve had him but just today I noticed his whole body covered by white spots.
I immediately went to the pet shop (Petco) and purchased the Ich medicine, Mardel Copper Safe.

I changed out his water and put the med’s in. He was so good when he was in the plastic baggy waiting for the water temps to be adjusted but after a few minutes of going into the aquarium, he lost balance and would go to the bottom and on his side.

I am really worried. I truly love this guy and don’t want to lose him. Do you think he is dieing? He will still come up for food but goes back down after and stays at the bottom sort of to one side.

my fish have always been well looked after and suddenly my 7 year old striped dora cat fish died with no warnings but i did notice he was swollen when we took him out. Also we have just had to put another in the hospital tank and put internal bacteria medicine in as he looks ill too. I know what the problem is but i don’t know why it has happened. Could someone tell me what to do to save my other fish.
